Levels - From A1 to C2
Nivå follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), the same system used by the Norwegian language test.
A1 — Beginner
Basic words and phrases. Introduce yourself, ask simple questions.
A2 — Elementary
Everyday conversations. Understand and participate in simple, concrete situations.
B1 — Intermediate
Free conversation about familiar topics. Travel, work, family. The minimum requirement for many purposes.
B2 — Upper intermediate
Discuss and argue. Understand the news, write clear texts.
C1 — Advanced
Advanced and nuanced language use. Work and study in Norwegian without limitations.
C2 — Near-native
Full mastery. Understand everything and express yourself precisely in all contexts.
